Ticket machines. I often have a problem with them. They eat change. Coming from Japan where everything is so precise, I’m used to vending machines that never fail to give you change. In the UK, things are different.
When I went on an outing with my children the other day, I had to pay the parking fee. Although I had exact change to pay the parking fee, I automatically inserted pound coins expecting the ticket machine would give me change. It didn’t. I should have known better! British ticket machines sometimes eat money!
