I love growing food. I’m just not good at it.
Courgettes and cabbages have all been attacked by snails and slugs and who knows what.
But there was one good outcome from my veg garden. A pet snail for my 8-year-old son!
Guess what the snail’s favourite food is? My holey cabbages!
