Money trees come across as low-maintenance. My parents have had one for years without any trouble. But I’ve found out that money trees can have trouble. The other day, we noticed something mould-like on our money tree. I googled and learnt that it wasn’t mould but actually pests called mealybugs!
My husband found out that using alcohol spray can help protect plants from mealybug, so he gave it a try. He also discovered that sulphur can be effective. So, just to make sure, he used that as well.
We are hoping our money tree will recover. I really want it to, as I don’t want my children to believe in any curses!
